About Department:

The Department of Geography was established in July 2007. The objectives of the department are to demonstrate and analyses knowledge of the facts, processes, and methods of Geography. To explore of the methods of map and imagery interpretation. To bring geographical awareness among the people to solve environmental problems. Prepare written and verbal presentations that report their geographical discoveries through analyses of appropriate documents, primary data, and/or archival data, in professional/technical styles. Explain the spatial connectivity’s of human societies and environments at local, regional and global scales. Explain that solving geographical problems is based on experiential analyses of primary and archival data through the methods of the sciences and social sciences. About the Department:


The Department of Hindi was established in 2007 with the establishment of the college on 27th July 2007.
Hindi department is one of the competent departments   of our college.  There is one post of Assistant Professor. Though it is challenging to motivate students of rural area who prefer to communicate in their local dialect, but the department attempts to motivate students in their future prospective. The department gives ample opportunities to express and publish student articles in college magazine ‘Sarijika’ under the guidance of Teacher-editors.

About Department:

The Department of Sociology was established in 2007. The department offers teaching Programmes only for UG classes. Courses curriculum has both academic as well as societal relevance. Some of the courses are required courses aimed at providing theoretical and methodological base while other course are open courses , which also include courses pertaining to thrust areas identified i.e. Family, Institutions, Population Studies, Environmental Studies, Relation of Sociology with other Science, Development and Social Change, social Stratification, state and Society.
